Caucus For Josh on Feb 3rd, 2026
What the Caucus Is — and Why It Matters

The DFL Precinct Caucus is the first step in deciding who represents our community — and who earns the DFL endorsement. On February 3rd, 2026, District 3 residents will meet in their precincts to elect delegates and shape the direction of our shared future.
Caucus is simple. You show up, sign in, ask for neighbors support to be a delegate, and support the candidate who reflects your values. If you want new leadership at the county level, this is where it starts.
How to Support Josh at Caucus
Supporting Josh on caucus night is straightforward — and incredibly powerful. When you arrive, sign in, find your precinct group, and declare your support for Josh Bassais for Hennepin County Commissioner District 3. From there, you’ll help elect delegates who carry that support into the next stage of the endorsement process. Most people finish in under an hour. Your presence can shape the direction of the entire county.

Why Delegates Matter
Delegates are the backbone of the DFL endorsement process. They vote at the Hennepin County DFL Convention later this spring to determine who receives the party’s endorsement for County Commissioner. Becoming a delegate is simple — and it ensures your voice carries beyond caucus night.
If you support Josh, becoming a delegate is one of the strongest ways to move this campaign forward.
Help Us Organize Caucus Night
Caucus night runs on the power of volunteers — neighbors who greet attendees, help people find their precincts, answer questions, and make sure our supporters get counted. Even one hour makes a meaningful difference.
No experience is required. We’ll train you and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
